The Winding Banks of the Susquehanna by t. j. nixon

Tha Winding Banks of the Susquehanna ; oil painting by t. j. nixon . The Susquehanna river is a portal of smooth and abrupt transitions . So much relies apon the Susquehanna to do its job of moving water . The land and banks of this river are verdurly fertile . Farm fields full of crops are planted in curving and winding rows echoeing the rivers sinuous banks . In spring a field plkanted with corn is now in summer a sea of maze. Everything appears like patch work quilt pattertns when seen from this rivers edge . The Susquehanna is a giver to life and of life .Everyday can be a joy and pleasure to behold the winding banks of the Susquehanna .
