The Garden of Earthly Delights

In the Garden of Eden i reach to the trees .Hiding in the shadows . Old memories not easily fooled found me . Old night mares , long dark corridors , lurking in closets , beneath beds, waited to take hold . Images trapped and fragmented memories . Childhood last but an hour . Torture passes slow . Once  permission to forget had been realized . Being one of the trees to not be noticed . Fooling the ghosts  . Ha  - ha . Have to learn to love decorative fences  while there is still time to enjoy the fruit .

Driving through an afternoon of sunshine to dusk . Summer chorus of crickets from near by fern sing tenor and soprano . Wild turkeys on the left cross over to the right . Approaching deer slow down and pause . Passing traffic sounds from an interstate applaud tonights crescendo performance . Falling leaves on the pavement ahead . We are all temporary dwellers with roof tops falling in about us . Good night world .

Summer Changing

Caterpillars to monarchs fluttering away through blue skies . Summer crickets chirp the song of change in cooling moist air . The swallows have away to Capistrano .
